Anyone know of a way to fund homes that are 50k and below. I’ve read that most if not all banks won’t do a loan on a property below 50 grand. I rather not spend all my cash on a deal. Any insight would be helpful

Hello everyone is escrow with my first rental property in northwest Indiana and looking for recommendations on good property managers. I’ve heard some horror stories about property management companies and hoping to get some good referrals from the biggerpockets family.

Maybe you guys can help me analyze a deal, any hello would be amazing. I’ll post the details and you guys tell me what you think. This is a duplex with the asking being 178,000, annual taxes are 1494, insurance should be about 100 bucks a month, PMI should be about another 108 dollars a month. Tenants pay all utilities from what I’ve seen. I need to double check that. My interest rate is about 5% for a 30 year fixed mortgage. One side of the duplex is being rented out for 700 a month. In this area rent can range from 700-880 and higher for higher end rentals. What do you guys think?

@Basit Siddiqi omg you have been a lot of help my friend. The property is a duplex and the sewer bill is billed directly to the property and isn’t separated.

Planning on house hacking a property, as the owner I will be paying for the sewer. Is that a tax write off? Also can I wrote off my PMI and insurance for the property as well? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you all
