Just following up on this post. I was looking into Red Star Mortgage for a 30yr fixed commercial loan and I'm having trouble finding reviews or feedback from people who have used them. Bob did you use them or go with someone else?

Well, it's funny you would ask because we just scheduled our next meet-up for Thursday August 5th 5PM @ Historic Stonebrook Farm, 475 Deep Run Rd Perkasie, PA. And the icing on the cake is that we got Matt Faircloth (author of Raising Private Capital and a fellow Bucks County resident!) to agree to be our keynote speaker. Hey guys, I just want to say thanks to everyone who came out to my event on July 23rd. It was a great time of meeting some local investors, swapping stories and ideas, and building our network.

I talked to my brother (who lives in Lancaster) a couple days before the event and he asked me an interesting question that made me think- “Why are you getting together with these other local investors, aren’t they your competition?” I came away thinking “Sure, we inevitably will be in competition at some point over a property here and there, but the overwhelming response that I have gotten from multiple local investors is that we are here to help each other and add value to one another. I feel that is the vision that Josh Dorkin and Brandon Turner started with and that is the mindset they want to instill in all of us called “The abundance mindset”- 6 Tips to Develop and Model an Abundance Mindset by John C. Maxwell

Hey guys, as of right now we are still planning to do the meet-up! There is a 60% chance of scattered thunderstorms as of writing this but I am hoping it will miss us and not put a damper on our gathering. Please bring an umbrella (or 2) and if you have a pop-up tent bring that along as well and we will make the best of it. If it's thundering and lightning we will have to postpone till next week.
