I'm also interested in meeting others from Sacramento. Although I officially live in Southern California, I'm up in Sac 50% of the time, looking to network with other investors. Let me know if any meetups are happening!

I'd love to see an Android app as well - I know for sure it would help me be more involved in the site here as continually sitting on Biggerpockets via a computer is not an option for me. Having an app would really make it easier to be in the loop for someone like me who is continually on the go. :)

Hi Chris, welcome! I live in HB but manage a LB property for my family - I initially had the same dilemma and ended up investing in Northern CA (Sacramento).

I'm somewhat at a beginning stage with a couple deals behind me; I've been doing it part time for a couple years but gearing up to doing it full time - our first flip (full rehab) just went on the market a couple days ago. But I'm hoping to actually get into the market in Southern CA in the future - although it is a tough market, it can be done if done right.

If you're up for it, we can meet sometime and just share and discuss our goals, etc. I'd be happy to meet you and any other local investors (or future investors) :)

Regarding my other question, I figured it out myself - the link I posted above (expertrating.com) leads to the same course as you can take through other community colleges, except that it's $10 more. Certificates are given in both cases as you are pretty much taking the same class. I've learned that I can take it through my local CC college (Golden West College) for $89 as well - all in all, it doesn't matter which venue you take it through as you will be in the same online class as others from other CCs around the country.
