@Dean Letfus @AJ Singh. Great post with a lot of good warnings. Another problem I heard related to "built to rent community" is that when all the new houses (2 or 3 blocks) are meant only for tenants, that area quickly goes down without the ownership mentality of occupants. No long-term investments made in schools and community. That can lead to lower values if you want to sell to owner occupants later.
