I may consider a fourplex, but for now I'm sticking to the idea of a duplex. How's your credit? I'm working with a credit specialist to get mines repaired. I'd say first get your financing in order by talking to a lender and then go from there. Let me know how I can help. Wish you well.

Hey Johnathan, thanks for the reply. I also was thinking the same and my credit is good for a person my age says many banks and credit card companies. What your plans after you aquire the duplex ? Have a bigger picture your trying to construct ?

Thanks for the reply, how exactly did you buy your first multi family house ?

Thanks John, appreciate the advice. Would you recommend expanding by acquiring more multi family house or move up to house etc ?

Thanks for the reply Nick, that sounds good but I have a bigger plan in stored for last. In order to get to it I have to start off small and lay out a sturdy foundation.

Salutations, I'm 19 years old and getting my feet wet in investing into real estate. What steps should I take to aquire my first multi family property (duplex, triplex, etc). I have some money saved up but not that much ?

Thanks Wayne, I really appreciate your reply. It gives me motivation that some one actually cares. I'll take your 2 cents into consideration.
