@Shawn Ackerman thanks! I have been trying to network with local RE professionals but so far nothing is set in stone. But I'm optimistic and I'm continuing to network. Thanks for the welcome!

Also, I'm currently looking to assemble a team (attorney, CPA, escrow agent, etc) so if anyone has recommendations for those they're also welcome

Hey guys,

I've been posting for the past few days and forgot to introduce myself. My name is Gina and I'm an RE investor in the Northern and Central NJ area. I've invested in 2nd position NPNs in the past but I'm making the transition to invest in and own physical property. I'm looking to buy and hold 2-4 unit properties and I'm willing to partner up if interested. Overall, my short-term goal is to have invested in my first property before 2018. In the long-term, my goal is to quit my W2 career by the time I'm 30 and live off of my RE cash flow.

I'm looking forward to speaking to and networking with you all in the future. All colleague requests are welcomed. I might pick your brain a bit but hopefully that's ok.

Also, if anyone knows any deals in my area or is looking for a partner for deals in my area, I'm definitely game. Any help or tips or recommendations are gladly appreciated.

I'll stop rambling now haha. Thanks!

Although they aren't closer to home, I've heard good things from another local flipper, I am currently working with LendingHome (I will let you know how that goes), but some good ones I've been told about were Alpha Funding (Never heard about them not closing on a deal), Rehab Financial Group, Infinity Capital Finance, and Ashmore Partners just to name a few.

Thanks Johnathan, I'll check them out as well!

Hi again! :)

So I've been checking out some hard money lenders in NJ and reached out to every HML listed on BP. I'm liking a few (namely Gelt Financial, LendingOne and ABL) but I was wondering if anyone can vouch for or warn me against any of them, or if anyone can recommend HMLs that's aren't already listed on BP (who are newbie-friendly)?

Also, is it typical that HMLs will offer to refinance your hard money loan (without the need to go to a different bank)? Gelt advised that they do that and it sounded almost too good to be true.

Thanks again guys! :)

 Hi Chris,

My deals are in Essex (Newark), which is close enough. Know anyone around there?

Thanks!
