Any real estate lawyers in NJ out there?

Hey guys, I've been a member for a while now but haven't really been active. I've just gotten into the real estate investing business and I'm looking for a local RE lawyer. Anybody out there, or does anyone know any good lawyers or firms? The closer you/they are to Newark the better. Thanks! :)

Let me give you a few danger signs to watch out for when shopping for an attorney:

  • If they don't have a paralegal and or Assistant and handle everything themselves (incl. pick up the phone), stay away.
  • If they don't get back to you the same business day, be careful. Maybe within 24 hours. But any response time greater than that is an issue.
  • If they don't communicate via email and instead fax or call you......need I say more? Unless they do it within the same business day - maybe you can let them slide
  • If every time you call them, they're in court. How do they find time to handle your deals?

Hope this helps!
