I’m rehabbing my second rental property and I am considering doing faux marble epoxy countertops over laminate. Has anyone done this before in a rental? How does it hold up?

How are you guys doing in Albuquerque? How’s the market? We are thinking of investing in NM. How does it compare to Santa Fe?

Post: How much should I rent my house for??

Hello!

I am thinking of renting my 2br 2 bth home located on .4 acres in a country neighborhood in Saint Augustine , Florida. The upkeep on the house is expensive. It needs to be pressure washed twice a year, on well, septic, and in Florida so there’s always rain and hurricanes etc.

They’re building a huge shopping center a few miles from there and the area is up and coming so I would love to keep it to build equity since we’ve only had it for 2 years.

My mortgage is about $1100 and people seem willing to rent it for $2000. I will definitely need a property manager since we’re moving across the country.

Any advice?

Post: Getting a loan for BRRRR method in JAcksonville, FL

Does anyone have a recommendation for a financial institution that would work with an investor in refinancing a property as used in the BRRRR method? I am in the Jacksonville, FL area and a specific institution would be amazingly helpful but if you have general advice about how you are able to finance your BRRRRs I would love to hear from you.

This will be my first BRRRR and I do have some of my own money saved as well as a home that I own. How would you go about financing the first deal in my situation? Thanks.

Post: Getting a real estate license when I move states every 4 years?

I am currently serving in the military and I have some time on the side that I want to dedicate to real estate investing. I need to learn as much as I can so that I can make excellent, informed decisions and I want to get my real estate license. I will be moving states in 2 years and probably every 3-4 years after that. Should I get my license in my current state and then retest in each new state? Has anyone had any experience with this?
