Getting a real estate license when I move states every 4 years?

I am currently serving in the military and I have some time on the side that I want to dedicate to real estate investing. I need to learn as much as I can so that I can make excellent, informed decisions and I want to get my real estate license. I will be moving states in 2 years and probably every 3-4 years after that. Should I get my license in my current state and then retest in each new state? Has anyone had any experience with this?
