I’m looking for engineer contacts for a small project we are doing on a remodel. It’s an exterior staircase and we have the architectural drawings done but the county requires an engineer stamp as well. The engineer our architect works with quoted us way to high so looking to get some additional quotes. Thanks in advanced!

Do it! Call and interview as many lenders as you possibly can. I’m talking, 10+. Every lender has different products they can offer. If you can stay at your current job, you will have an easier time but doesn’t mean it’s not possible with different loan products.

I'm looking for advice on insurance providers in Mariposa county. We're looking at purchasing a STR and having a hard time finding a property insurer that will take on both fire and home insurance. Anyone have luck in these areas not using the Fair Act providers? Thanks!
