House hacking is a great start.  I would start building your boots on the ground crew.  These are the people you will need to call on when something goes wrong at your property.  For example:  a good handyman, electrician, plumber etc.  You will be amazed  how often you will one.  When I first started with my first investment, I knew no one in that town.  So I had to hire who ever I got at a moments notice and that became expensive.  But once I started asking around, getting referrals, I got to build my book of solid professionals that I could count on and that saved me a lot of money.  Good Luck!

Hi BP Friends,

I am at a point where I have several rental properties and now I  need a professional Real Estate Tax preparer to do my returns.  Can you recommend someone you have used and been very happy with?  It has to be someone who is very knowledgeable in investors with rental properties.  I would appreciate both your recommendation and insights/advise.  Thank you in advance!

Hi BP Friends,

Can anyone recommend the best Tenant screening companies you guys are using and that you are very happy with and why?

@Jason Bott Hi, never did get that list.  Did you dm me the info?

@Eliott Elias Hi Eliot, that would be much appreciated.  Please dm me the info on your insurance broker.  Thank you!

@Jason Bott great, please do, I would appreciate that. Thank you!

@Jason Bott Hi Jason, the property will be completely empty of any tenants living there while rehab is taking place.  As far as mechanical systems, yes, I would say it's going to be a complete overhaul since we are re doing  new electrical, hvac, plumbing etc.
