You can consider meeting at a coffee shop, library, or community center. These places are usually a peaceful and neutral environment for important discussions. If you prefer a private space, you might also look for renting a meeting room at a hotel.

I would definitely recommend screening tenants as a standard practice for your own protection, regardless of whether the insurer requires it. It's important to thoroughly vet potential tenants to ensure that they are reliable and will take good care of your property.

Yes, it is possible to rent a mobile home to Section 8 tenants even if you only rent the land the mobile home sits on. The land doesn't have to be sold along with the property for it to qualify for Section 8 renting. You can rent out the mobile home and the land separately to Section 8 tenants.

Yeah, after checking out the real estate investment scene and weighing the pros and cons, you realized there are better ways to grow your wealth. It's kind of a bummer to admit this since you've been appraising for so long. But, looking ahead to the next 10 years before you retire, if you think you'll have more success as a small business owner then go for it. If you are considering buying a business, it's similar to real estate; it's about taking risks and making evaluations.

It's important to carefully consider your options and what will best help you achieve your long-term goals. Have you considered exploring other paths, such as taking a gap year to work and gain some real-world experience before making a decision about college? This could help you clarify your goals and potentially save money for your future. Keep in mind that there's no one-size-fits-all answer, and it's okay to take the time to figure out what's best for you. Good luck!

It's important to be ethical and considerate in your dealings. In this situation, it's crucial to review the original agreement they signed with the real estate agent. Many listing agreements have a protection or holdover period, which means that if the property sells to someone who was introduced to the property during the listing period, the agent is still entitled to their commission. By going directly to the seller after the original deal fell through, you may still be obligated to pay the commission to the agent. It's best to consult with a real estate attorney and review your original agreement with the agent to fully understand your obligations and avoid any potential legal issues. It's important to proceed with caution and ensure that all parties involved are treated fairly.

Hello Bob,

I’m sorry to hear about another investor dealing with this situation. I will say this about Ashley C-she works with Justin Banks and I would not believe anything they say because they have proven to be untrustworthy. I decided to go with Dove Realty and have not yet had any problems with them.

Hello,

Both Connecticut and New Jersey offer their own unique advantages for real estate investment. Connecticut is known for its strong rental market, especially in areas like Fairfield County, and offers proximity to New York City. On the other hand, New Jersey provides a diverse real estate market, with opportunities for both residential and commercial investments. Ultimately, the decision will depend on your investment goals, preferred property type. It may be beneficial to consult with a local real estate agent who can provide insight into current market trends and investment opportunities in both Connecticut and New Jersey.

Sometimes it just takes doing and failing to learn. It's great that you've made the decision to start with small family units for real estate investment. I understand how overwhelming it can feel to take that first step, but it's important to remember that taking action, even if it leads to failure, is a crucial part of the learning process. Keep moving forward and seeking out the right opportunities. Good luck! also, bigger pockets has an agent section for you to make requests.
