Sure thing, @Luis Vilar! You're into rental properties I see. I'm looking into wholesaling and flipping, so keep me in mind if you find something interesting.

Hey @Roberto Moita,

I don't claim to be an expert since I'm still new to this. What are you looking to invest in?

I am in Florida and I know it's a good market here, but I also hear that Tennessee and the Carolinas are great places for rental investments.

Let me know if I can help.

Hello @Erik Stark,

Nice to meet you virtually. I'm just starting in REI, and saw your post here. Didn't really understand if you're still in Boca or not. But would love to connect either way.

Thanks,

Sam

Welcome, @Frank Berrin,

I'm just north of you, in Boca Raton. I'm new to REI as well and starting off with wholesaling and flipping houses. I'm sure being a realtor and having worked as a property manager gives you a lot of experience.

Good luck!

Welcome, @Benjamin Schenk,

Actually this one is hosted by @Jon Huber. I don't know if Charles is part of the same group. They have it once a month, and it's currently on Zoom... like the rest of the world! Their next meeting is this Saturday at 1 PM.

If you're interested, I can send you the meetup info.

btw, did you play basketball on PGA or Burns? You look familiar.

@Mike Valdes

Welcome man! We're in the same boat here. I joined about a year ago, and just started acting on it. I'm planning on starting with Wholesaling and flipping as well. Yes, this place has a ton to offer and the people here are very helpful. Very excited to be part of it. Good luck!

Hey @Mike Colucci,

Where in South Florida are you? I'm in Boca. I ran into the same problem, and have recently seen someone who set a 5-year plan and it helped him exceed his expectations. I second what the two gentlemen mentioned, and I am myself creating this plan this week. You're a step ahead already with your cash flowing condo. Good for you!

Hey @Anastasia S.

I'm in South Florida, and the only thing I know is that this market is more expensive than the Tampa Bay area, or even Jacksonville. I don't have many options for SFRs and I'm looking in the $200K range.

I'm also not sure if Tampa has this, but many places in South Florida have HOA fees that drain your income if you're looking into buy and hold.

Please let me know if there's anything I can help with.

I hear your pain, @Account Closed. I'm in Boca and I run into the same issue. For me personally, I try to avoid HOAs as much as possible, but sometimes the deal is too good to let go. I'm not yet into buy and hold, I currently flip houses, and still very hesitant when it comes to HOAs.
