I have a two bed room 2 full baths a 1300 sqft apartment and I want to rent out my other room to a friend but I don’t know how much to charge her. How do I go by doing that ?

I've recently gotten the opportunity to start a business with a partner of mine, It's a bit off-topic because its not really related to Real Estate. But i know that people in this industry that actually succeed do so by treating their portfolio as a business. So my question to BR is for any of you who have ever started a business what advice would you give someone like myself?

@Ethan Perry Thanks for the advice, i made an offer on a two bed two full bath this morning (planning on renting out the other room and having a roommate). I guess now i'm just trying to get over the fact that ill be rooming with someone else and being their landlord. Marketing out the room and choosing the right roommate would probably be my next challenge if all of this works out!
