@Braden C.

I just want to put any liens not specifically tax liens. Would that work? Or what is not legal

I'm contacting some properties that have tax liens on them. Should I mention we can pay off any liens on the property?

I have another vacant property where both owners passed away. There seems to be no children and no will or anything. Taxes owed all the way since 2016. Husband passed away in 2014 and wife in 2017. How do I get a hold of someone who can help with this? What steps are next in these type of situations?

@Justin Reed

Yes I know she’s in distress so I don’t want to scare her off. No, I would never harass someone especially of older age. I did not know taxes were inherited so I would like to help, it’s just that since she has an exemption I thought it would be of conflict contacting her. I just hope the house doesn’t have a reverse mortgage or something. But thank you!

There’s a house around an area I really, really like. The owner owes $33K in taxes but the account is on deferral & the exemption is that she’s over 65 so she only pays $300 towards the debt. I don’t think it’s ethical to contact her but the house also looked vacant with overgrown grass & no trash bins in sight. Is it legal/ethical to get in contact with her via cold calling? Or maybe direct mail less harsh?

TIA

@Jordan Goulet

It’s easy to feel discouraged when you get replies like these. Try perhaps rewording your texts to be more human like and less robotic/scripted. Keep trying, hope you figured it out.
