Hi everyone,

It's been a while since I posted anything, good to be back here. Is it possible to get a 4 Unit apartment with only 5% down considering it is owner-occupied, I'm especially asking for Moncton, New Brunswick market. Also, I'm looking to get in connection with some mortgage brokers to help me clarify things for my first property, feel free to reach out.

Thanks,

Sahil Agnihotri

That's a piece of great advice, which is easily manageable. Thanks, @Nik S.

Good day Everyone,

It is a rhetorical question, How much percentage of salary should be saved monthly? I know this has no correct answer but I'd like to know about people here when they were just starting out. THANKS :)

Hi all,

First of all, I'd like to thank each and everyone here present on this platform for all your amazing responses. I jot down everything in my mind on all the suggestions I get and carefully review every suggestion.

Hope everyone is doing amazing with the rules now easing up especially the Atlantic bubble. I will also like to express my deepest condolences to the family killed in London (Ontario). There is no place for RACISM

So, moving on with the post: I'd like to get few recommendations on How to get more information about Moncton's neighbourhood. Any websites, information, books/guides where I can get detailed information about city neighbourhood. I'd like to read more about it as I've still got time to invest as I am an international student in Canada right now (I can't invest legally until I'm graduated which in my case is December 2021) and which areas should I consider considering the cash flow and areas with a good pool of tenants.

I'd like to dig deep into it, I'm open to any suggestions or guidance. Thank you for your time. :)

@Chris Baxter Hi Chris,

Can you please elaborate a bit on landlord friendliness in Moncton compared to other provinces (Nova Scotia or others). Thank you
