Thanks @Thomas Lorini

I spoke with TD today, they don't lend on properties in Ohio, they only work with the states on the east coast. I did leave a message for RBC and BMO, hopefully i hear back from them on Monday, I'll let you know.

Thanks @Melvin List

I haven't contacted any local broker yet but i have spoken with 3-4 lenders in the area and all of them are saying that i need to have a Visa and they can't work with a Canadian citizen. I did’t think it’ll be this hard to find a traditional lenders to work with me.

Hello again BP,

I was wondering if anyone knows a lender that they can put me in contact with that works with a Canadian looking into investing in US. I work in Canada and I do not have any sort of Visa within US, and the reason I say that, so far i've spoken to 3-4 lenders that have asked me If I have a working visa or if I am a green card holder.

Thank you everyone in advance,

I'm looking to get some realtor contacts within Columbus, Cincinnati, Indianapolis markets, anyone that you've worked with, or any realtor on this site that works with MFH (2-4 units). I'll be in these cities this weekend and next week, I would love to setup meetings with them in advance.

Thanks everyone,

Hi VanCity,

I was wondering if anyone knows of any meet ups, groups or events in Vancouver that I can sign up to or join. I prefer that the group invest in US not Canada.

Thank you for the information in advance,

@Roy N.

Thank you for the message, this is good for starting my search. Just out of curiosity, are you currently investing in US? and if you are how did you setup your tax and legals in US and Canada.

Thanks again,

Hi BP,

I was wondering if anyone can help me with legal and tax setup, basically what I need to setup before buying Real Estate in us (being a Canadian), I haven't find exactly what I need to do on BP or online. So far what I've learned, it doesn't make sense for me to setup an LLC in US (I will get double taxed, Canada & US)

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance,
