We are a team of real estate investors developing a portfolio in the Hudson valley seeking a qualified, motivated and experienced Property Manager to assist in overseeing operations of our portfolio and helping us with project management and acquisition.
The current properties are located in Kingston, Hyde Park and Ulster Park.

We are looking for a goal oriented, independent and energetic individual who enjoys becoming involved in a variety of tasks and has a strong work ethic.

The primary responsibility of this position is to assist the owners in all aspects of management for the portfolio. The ideal candidate should possess impeccable customer service skills, strong communication skills, general letter writing, English required (and Spanish prefered).
Attention to detail, efficiency and ability to work independently on assignments is necessary.
Must be proficient in MS Office, particularly excel.

Knowledge of real estate, rentals, sales, tenant screening, property management, small repairs, contractor supervision....

Minimum of Associates Degree and/or applicable work experience in property management preferably in NY required.

Compensation $20+ an hour based on experience.
This position will start as part time and grow into full time.
Independent contractor status prefered.
Vehicle required

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone had dealt with purchasing an occupied/rented property and had to vacate existing tenants to renovate?

(Tenants are month to month and very under market)

We are located in NY and with the current situation and restriction on evictions we are afraid it could take years if tenants don’t cooperate or can’t relocate easily. That would be make this project not worth it.

Any insight? Ideas? If you did cash for keys how much did you give? Any other hurdles we should know of?

We are in the negotiation phase but are trying to do as much homework as possible before committing.
