@Darvin Johnson If you are looking for short term rentals, the Traverse City and surrounding areas are excellent.  Long term rentals are also great in the area (demand is very high), but a little more challenging to find good deals.  Let me know if there is anything I can help you out with in this area.

Hi Courtney, thank you for sharing this link.  This is extremely helpful for home buyers and property investors.  I’ve seen a lot of times new investors estimate their tax bill based on the current tax or/or sev home value.  Then they get surprised their operating numbers are way off when they get their next years tax bill that was assessed  at the new sev.  I try to help investors calculate the their operating numbers based on the future tax bill, which will give them much more accurate cap rate, and cash on cash metrics.  This link will come in very handy.  Thank you!

Welcome @DeAndre Vines!  I"m fairly new to the BiggerPockets forums as well.  I'm an active investor myself (single family and small multi-family) in Northwestern Michigan.  Have been thinking about expanding into Muskegon, Holland areas, and potentially Grand Rapids as well.  Keep me in the loop on your activities!

Hi Carlos, Welcome!  I have multiple long term investment properties (single family and Multi-family), as well as three short term rental properties in Northern Michigan around the Traverse City and surrounding areas.  Would be happy to connect, answer any questions, or help out with anything you need.
