hello BP, question about doing my taxes this year.. I bought a duplex and took out a 20,000 loan to fix it up.. I would like to buy another property this year and need every penny of income to help show the bank to qualify. My question is should I claim the 20,000 that I used to fix the house and if I do will it somehow lower my income on my schedule A?

Thanks

Ryan

Hey BP, may be a stupid question but I don't know the answer.. when buying a house with 20% down and putting some sweat equity in and then trying to cash out refinance, should you use the same bank to cash out refinance or use another? Does it matter?

Thanks

hello BP, if I decided to find another job would that put a damper on me getting loans for 2 years? Until the 2 year requirement is fulfilled?

Thanks

When cashing out refinancing is there a accurate way of knowing about how much more the mortgage will go up? Is there any "rule of thumb" ? Thank you

If you take a heloc against your primary home I understand it's possible to get 90 to 100 ltv. After you get the line of credit are you allowed to move? How long must you stay there? Not trying to get in trouble here.

Thanks!

Ryan

By taking a heloc won't it hurt your dti temporarily? Could I also take a cash advance and still the bank wouldn't care or ask questions?

Thanks!
