I was wondering what market was like for buy and hold on Condos or Townhomes in the San Antonio area. Does anyone have any experience with this type of real estate? One thing I've noticed is that HOA fees for these types of properties are pricey!

Hi everyone!  I'm new to BP and real estate investing.  I've been a law enforcement  officer for the last 23 years. I'm looking at retiring in the next 10 to 12 years. My goal is to get about 8K to 10K in monthly passive income by then to supplement my retirement. Buy and hold is my goal in the San Antonio, TX area but would like to trying flipping as well. I'm looking forward to learning from everyone on BP.   Thank you!
