@Paige Kelsey thank you for your contributions and post. So many negative nancy post but your post is great for people like me who are investing from out of state (out of country, stationed overseas) and will be for awhile. Good luck, I am looking into purchasing books and watching videos from the section8 bible. Of the two properties im under contract for (2plex & SF) one tenant is section8. Hope this helps

@Brian Eilering congrats on the success. I have just received my PSA for an Augusta investment property. I am still looking for contractors but I about to deploy so search has been more compiling and less vetting. Good luck if you have any recommendations ill take them all.

Its a condo play only unless your a local national. I have the desire to purchase a 2 bed room condo in either location because it is my goal to have a few home bases in the region for future early retirement. Its not a safe bet for decent ROI, mostly speculative in some opinion. I HAVE NOT purchased anything yet just research.

Hello, Im 29 and been looking at Thailand and other SE Asian countries for possible international rentals/global pit-stops for when i retire from the service. Mostly have owner restrictions but a two bedroom condo would work for me no matter where. Done alot of research but  have time on my side so havnt pulled the trigger yet but its my goal by the end of this year to jump in.
