Does anybody know if its possible to get an fha on a new construction loan for a 4plex if i live in one of them? I have land and now need to know what i can do with it for low out of pocket costs
I am in the process of doing a gut rehab on a 2300 sqft home. Im in the way beginner stage and got the house for almost free but i think it needs alot of work from the foundation to the roof. Where are the MAIN places i can save money in this?

Alex Bock also it is a historical home! Made in 1820 so it would be beautiful if i could bring it back to life and eventually the others in that area!

Brandon Diaz hey Brandon. Its actually about 2300 sq ft comps in that area range from $19000 to $95000 literally. Unfortunately my understanding of structure and foundation is fuzzy, but from what i understand it is some issues with the outside ground 🙄. We will be going on the inside sunday so i will hVe a better understanding. The roof is kind of tilted in like a very minor v shape if that makes any sense. So im hoping somebody will make a miracle happen

Hi BiggerPockets!!! Its been about a year since i have been on and alot has happend. The first home i bought for my family i have turned into a home for the disabled. Only holds 3 ppl but the rent is decent in each room. But i am writing because of my newest project. I bought my grandmas house for the taxes that were owed on it total about 2,500 bucks its been abandoned for 9 yrs. I did a walk thru today with my very experienced investor friend who I actually met on here. Basically the house is really really bad. Water line is burst in the front, foundation needs fixing and likely needs an entire new roof. And we havent even got to the inside yet!!! My guess is it needs to be gutted all throughout. There is sentimental value to the home, my dad grew up there and its where my grandma taught me how to cook my fav meal chicken and dumplings. I would love to keep it if possible! Has anybody had any experience with homes like these? Im wondering if i can some how magically get it in good condition for around $50,000.... recommendations!?
