@Derek Harris

Knowing, learning what property values are after repair, get someone in that you can trust, have them give you info on cause and repair.

Do that first. If your home experience is limited you need good information.

I know there is a house in Augusta, Me. Has major foundation issues.

That house is listed for $30-40,000.

The problem with that foundation is the rain and snow from the neighbors metal roof goes directly at the house and has destroyed the foundation...

That is a house no one should even consider. Can’t fix that

@Allison

Hi Allison,

A company we use in Scarborough is Treworgy and Baldacci. I think you will find them helpful ( near the Mall)

That is a little distance from you, but they are all on top of their game there.

They may also travel to you for a closing.

@Steven Strauss

Quicken since starting Rocket Loans do lots more than they used to including personal loans ( last time I spoke with them, been a couple of years)

My last encounter with a veteran purchasing one of our rehabs, we in negotiating gave them the $750 off closing costs coupon to use them. That transaction was a pain in the butt, but I stayed ontop of them and it closed on time.
