Hello, so I am in a situation right now where I have a four bedroom 1 bath single-family home that at the moment has the laundry room hook ups in the kitchen and the kitchen is fairly small so I am trying to give the kitchen more space by relocating the laundry room into the smallest bedroom. The cost of this is a little high for the fact that the bedroom sits on a concrete slab so doing the drain plumbing is a bigger job. My question is does it seem worth it to pay money to have the laundry room moved and lose a bedroom making it a 3 bedroom 1 bath. Or should I keep the existing laundry room location. The pictures show laundry room in kitchen option

Ok thanks for all of your responses. I will definitely look at the surrounding comps to get a better idea.

I have a property that I’m renovating. It’s listed as a 4 bedroom 1 bathroom. It has 3 bedrooms upstairs with one bathroom upstairs and one bedroom downstairs in the half basement. The 4th bedroom upstairs is more of a bonus room but does have a closet and large window. I’m wondering if I should turn it into a bathroom or keep it a smaller bedroom. Not really sure what would add/hold more value.

I spoke with my lender this morning and he is getting in contact with one of his co workers.  I guess they have dealt with these types of loan’s before and is much more educated in them. So I should be getting more information soon.

Thank you so much for your response. I have a lender that has already done all of the loan work. I do not have a list of contractors though, so basically I can use any licensed contractor as long as they fill out certain paperwork? Or is it I can use any contractor that’s license and they just need to work with the lender? I would definitely like some help with finding a contractor.

I am soon to be closing on a property in Denver using a 203K fha loan which is a construction loan. The property is in good condition, but the previous owner had removed most everything from the bathroom and kitchen, so it needs sinks, countertops, vanity, shower, finished cabinets, and appliances. If anyone has any referrals or numbers that I can contact, that would be greatly appreciated.

Hello so I have a single family home that I have done a rehab on and the area is heavily populated with Spanish speaking families and I am not fluent in Spanish and my question is “do I have to supply a Spanish lease?” I am thinking I might be able to have prospective renters find someone to help translate the application and lease agreement and hit the main agreements but it’s proving to be a little difficult and I’m not sure if I have to supply a Spanish lease agreement. If I do need to have one in Spanish is there a company or place that someone knows of that can assist me with this. And maybe having an acknowledgment of understanding form written up would be a good idea  Thanks

Ok awesome. I did receive quite a few documents with the purchase of some Brandon turner books. Like rental application, move in /move out, addendums, lease template etc… are those the same as the package?

Thank you so much for the replies. I will definitely use the advice. I do have one more question. As far as posting the property for rent is there a best option?  I see sites like Zillow manager and avail also offer background checks and ways to pay rent. Anyone have any experience with these?
