I'm looking for an agent recommendation. I've been talking with a few people already, but I'm hoping to build a Multi-Family portfolio and I know a lot of those listings are off-market in the Kansas City area.

Hi Everyone,

I'm looking for a good Property Manager to help be part of my Boots on the ground with some rental properties I'm looking at. Does anyone have any good referrals?

I'm also looking for a good inspector too.

That sounds a bit misleading considering there are some pretty good neighborhoods inside of the loop ... Maybe you can elaborate?

Out of state investor here... I just wanted to get a feel for the general opinion on some of the neighborhoods I've been looking at in the city.

I'm looking for a reliable turn key provider to be my boots on the ground. I haven't really decided where, but I was originally looking in Ohio and Kansas City. In the end, I think I'm just looking for good people and that will ultimately convince me on where to invest.

After combing through various Turn Keys is it normal that many of them look/sound like scam artists? Does anyone have a solid referral? I'm really looking to build a multi-family portfolio for strong cash flow. If the area doesn't really have multi-family  it's not the end of the world, so long as the people are worth investing in. I would do it myself to rehab and hunt for deals and one day I hope to, but I work 70 hours a week and I barely have time to do much away from the computer.

I'll be shopping around for my first Rental once the weather gets warmer. I'm wondering where others have found the best deal starting out? Do I go to my bank as my 1st option for non-owner occupied home? Do I have to find a small bank? Who would typically give me the best rate?

This part of the process I don't quite understand.

@Slocomb Reed I think I'd be interested in grabbing a 3 or 4 unit property that can cashflow at 8% or better. I'm trying to spend under $350k for the property, and I'm actually intrigued by emerging areas if they are gentrifying, but I'm mostly looking either near the University or in areas with strong school districts. Someone else mentioned to me that I'd be well served looking across the river in Kentucky

Hey !

I'm a beginner to real estate investing from the NYC/Philadelphia area. Creating good cash flow is my primary focus, but pretty tough to do in my neck of the woods so after much consideration I'm looking to invest in Multi-Family Rental Properties in the Cincinnati area.

The market looks good and based on my math I was able to find some decent investments (from what I can tell).

I'm really looking for some boots on the ground to help me with the process of understanding the Cincinnati area and finding a good property/property manager/contractor

Thnx

Okay, so what areas / type of investing in the area are you participating in?

I'm pretty confident my wife would be happy to take out the loan herself, but at some point down the road would I be able to add my name to the loan?
