Also I have great credit but not much money to put down. I want to definitely house hack. I should be able to get approved for a FHA loan or something in order to get a property, should I start to apply for these loans to see what I will be approved for or should I look for the property first?

Hello BP Members, I am at the beginning stages of my real estate investing. I love BP and all of its different educational avenues. There are millions of ways to make money in real estate. That said I want to focus on buy and hold niche. What from personal experience should I focus on mastering first? Marketing, analyzing deals, financing, I'm sure it depends on where I am now. I have been learning a lot over the past few days. But I really want to focus. Can anybody give me some inside or personal experience on putting all the other niches to the side and focusing whole heart on one?

Hello BP, I am thinking for a name for my real estate holding company and was thinking about using my daughters name or initials. What is your experience in using names when it comes to credibility of your business to outside parties (i.e. Lenders, agents, sellers)? Does anybody know of any site, besides Google of course that I can search to find if there is already a business titled what I would like to call my business. Thank you in advance for your tips and input!

Hello BP Members, My name is Rickey and I'm from the Dallas, TX area. I am a newbie to real estate and am looking for duplex/fourplex in the Dallas area to invest in. I am going to start my real estate journey part time. I have read the beginners guide to real estate investment. Does anyone know of a real estate agent in the area.
