hi @Arpan Patel -  A lot of my clients are buying in Fort Lauderdale beach because they have the money and its tourist location but it is quite expensive for any size bedroom. For rental purposes I'd want to be minimum of 3bedroom so I would really need to be detailed on finding the "best deal for me". Once I've acquired the property I can do all the magic afterwards in terms of generating revenue. I guess the main thing would be to find someone who's an expert in the market in terms knowing  what developments/ long term projects the city has planned whether it be in my area or another market(open to different territories) and of course the other 3 professionals you mentioned. I plan to PM for my insight. Thanks!

@John Mathewson thanks luckily I come from the management side of rentals so I know the costs of maintenance, wear/tear and dealing with guests/tenants which for most seem to be the hard part when it comes to their investment.

Hi all - I'm 27 and looking to invest in my 1st income producing property in south florida (fort lauderdale/west palm preferably). I currently manage a considerable amount of vacation rentals which generates amazing revenue for my clients who are investors so I know the ups/downs of daily/monthly/annual rentals.

Now I feel like it's my turn to start owning and generating passive income for myself and any advice will be greatly appreciated. I would ask my clients who are investors but I don't want to mix my job with my personal aspirations. I actually thought knew a thing or two until I ended up on this website and got lost in the immense wealth of information from professional from all fields.

Hi there - I'm a vacation rental manager in fort lauderdale. The process is pretty quick however please be sure you are 100% compliant with everything they ask for.
Fort Lauderdale is very strict with their inspection so be sure to have everything in order.

Hi all - I'm 27 and looking to invest(with a partner) in my 1st income producing property in south florida. I currently manage vacation rentals for a living so I know the ups/downs of daily/monthly/annual rentals.

I've been hearing alot of good things about Pompano and Deerfield Beach but would like more insight from those in my area. What locations seem to be best to invest in with the hopes of reselling 5-10 years from now? I plan to start doing this on a consistent basis as a have alot of investors whose rentals I manage looking for more properties to invest in. Thanks!
