Hi Chris,

We are specifically looking for someone who can create documents for each loan that we lend. We have a great attorney that we use for our LLC's etc... but I wanted someone more familiar with specifically the lending space.

Looking for recommendations

Quote from @Alex Olson:

@Chris Lamm If you consider KC further, let me know. I can share some really good data on specific locations to buy and stay away from. Its a great market and there are fewer buyers right now.

I would love to connect. We have been looking into KCMO MF but I am new to that market and at the start of my research journey

I have the opportunity to make an offer on a property in 44104. I know this is historically a rough area but I have heard rumors that is is up and coming with the $$ the Cleveland Clinic is putting into their expansion. Any locals with some inside information on how true this is?

Hi all! We are closing on a property in Akron. It is currently section 8 with a tenant in place. We have other properties that are not section 8 so we are familiar with the area. Our current PM isn’t taking new properties so we are thinking we might try to manage ourselves. This is risky since we are out of state so I am looking for pointers on how the transition works on a section 8 and really anything else you think could help my research. I was on the AMHA website and didn’t really find what I was looking for. TIA

We have about 30 props in Akron, I would never in a million years even think about self-managing, why? Its like 100 bux a month, meaningless fee for them to handle it all

Good luck

That was a momentary lapse in judgement lol. I recovered and hired a PM who specializes in S8

I'm newish in Akron and looking to move into Cle or Cbus. The big thing is having a team on the ground in those markets. Especially Cle where the neighborhoods vary by street. I'm currently trying to make contacts so let me know if you find anyone you love?

I live on the beach in FL and do deals all the time in Cleveland,

I’d love any tips you’re willing to share!

All you need is a team, :) Well and money LOL,

Lol, money I have, the team is the roadblock. Im assuming start with a PM? Akron was easier because we have family in the agent/investor business so we had lots of trusted referrals.

I recommend hiring a property manager if you're out of state. Managing a section 8 rental without being on the ground will be difficult. If you'd like some referrals I can send them over to review

Thank you! I would appreciate that.
