Post: Finding phone numbers

I am getting names from tax records of people who are selling their homes. I have used whitepages.com and have even signed up with Spokeo and Intelius to get phone numbers. What I really want to find is cell phone numbers of homeowners. And these services seem to be pretty inconsistent. Does anyone know the best place to find cell phone numbers of property owners?

thanks,

Reggie

Hey there George Garcia, welcome to BP. I describe myself as an unborn newbie so I am just telling from what I have already learned. First, I can read your enthusiasm in your posts and that is awesome. But be careful because there are many who will take advantage of that spark. Don't sell your soul. Second, if you listen to the podcasts here and read the beginners info, you will get a huge insight on what this business is all about. The information here is priceless and you don't have to sell your children to learn this information. Third, in my limited knowledge, this business is all about relationships and that takes time and is well worth it. Learn Grow and Go (I think that is a slogan from my church- haha). My best to you!

Welcome @Brian Marti . I am a newbie here as well. There is so much info here. Check out the tab under learn that says Free beginners. There are some great podcast. So much information. Ask lots of questions, everyone here is so helpful. Have you attended your local REIA meetings? I hear it is a great place to meet other like minded investors.

Edwin Palacio Welcome to BP. As you will learn, everyone here is very helpful. I am a social worker- I work on call and am able to bunch my time up- I work 20 days out of the month which gives me 10 days off in a row. I am older and am happy that I have a steady income. If I was your age and was serious about getting into the flipping business, then you might see if you can get into a construction management company. If you are thinking commercial, get into a commercial management company. If you are thinking of buy and hold, get a position into property management. All this can be on the job training and will increase your knowledge 10 fold. Good luck with it.

Ethan Peyton I'm a newbie so anything I am saying is from what I have read. I think the greatest advice I have found so far has come from this blog: http://www.biggerpockets.com/renewsblog/2013/01/26/wholesale-advice-fix-flipper/ Before you find the property, build the buyer list and know what they are going to buy.

Welcome Jabari Marshall. I am also a newbie and I am finding a wealth of information here. The best thing you can do is ask lots of questions because I have found there is always someone at BP that is willing to help you. From what I have read, once you get that base of information, which you might already have (I don't feel I do yet but i am getting there), jump in and just start doing. You will find lots of support on BP.

Betty Gradney Welcome Betty: From one newbie to the next. You can also get overwhelmed on this site- just pick and choose what you read and ask lots of questions. I was trying to read every post and then realized that I couldn't keep up- there is sooooo much great info.
