I am in the process of looking for a property management company in Ohio and was wondering what is the typical monthly fee? I was under the impression that the average rate charged is 10% of monthly fee.  Does the average change with properties who rent out monthly for $600-$800?

I'm jumping into my first rehab from out of state but I'm afraid I may have got myself into more than I can handle. I would love to have a mentor to lead me in the right way.

Does anyone have a referral for a contractor in Akron, OH.

@Darel Ison Thank you for the information. May I ask, what is the average price you are able to purchase properties in Akron that need renovation? What is the average cost of an extensive renovation in that area? Do you have a hard time renting out your properties in the area?

I am thinking about buying a house in Akron, Oh. Does anyone have any insight to the area? Does anyone have referrals for rehab team?

I live in California and am interested in getting into doing BRRR deals out of state in a market of under 100k but don't know where to start. Can anyone suggest the best markets to get started and best places to find deals? I have been thinking about some of the online auctions, but I'm not sure if they are good deals. Any advice would help and be greatly appreciated.
