Post: TV cables EVERYWHERE!!

Good Evening! My wife and i have two duplexes and i recently noticed that every time a new tenant moves in and requests a tv service, the technician comes out, puts a new dish on the roof, runs all new wires to every room, and drills new holes through the hardwood floors in every room! I spent the whole afternoon ripping out cables from the crawlspace, siding, and the roof. My properties do not have cable boxes in the wall like newer homes.

My Question is, Should i put something in my lease pertaining to these services?

What can i do to prevent this absurd amount of ugly cables from being stapled onto the siding?

What do you do?

Thanks in advance!

Hi everyone! I currently own a duplex and have $40,000 in existing equity.(im also living in one of the units) Im looking to acquire another duplex soon around the $130,000 price range, but i do not have a lot of funds saved for a down payment. Would it be wise to use my equity out of my current duplex? Any thoughts are appreciated! Thanks

Hi everyone! First, just a little background on my real estate investments so far.

I am 23 years old and purchased my first duplex when i was 19. My wife and i have been living in one unit and renting out the other side for three years. Now is the time that we'd like to expand our real estate investments in rentals.

My question to you is, Do we need to form a business, if we plan to pursue this venture and continue to expand our properties? It has worked out thus far my collecting rent and keeping tenants happy. We are looking to buy a 6-plex and my concern is that we need to have all this under a business.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks
