I have also got a couple of properties in Cleveland from a turn key provider. May I ask who is your seller? I have been having mixed experiences with some and may be interested in changing to someone more reliable. I can also share my experiences (good and bad) having gone through a few turnkey providers.

I have a rehabber who has stopped paying interest on my loan. I have a promissory note and a deed on the property and my lien is in first position. I am in the process of finding a lawyer to foreclose on the property. The property is in Charlotte, NC. I dont have any idea what would a foreclosure cost me in terms of legal fees and other expenses. If any of you have gone through this, can you give me an estimate on the costs? The property is worth more than the loan but only by small amount and I am suspecting that there are other liens on the property as well but in second/third position. If someone has recommendation for a tried and tested legal firm in NC, that would be useful as well.
Thanks.

I have couple of properties in the Old Brooklyn neighborhood.
Any of the Cleveland experts on this forum have any views about this neighborhood? Rents have been iffy but that may be due to poor property management. Any suggestions for a good property management company?

I am looking for a property manager in the Cleveland area. Anyone can refer me to someone tried and tested, that would be very helpful. The home is in the 44109 zip code. Thanks.

I have a borrower in Charlotte, NC who has stopped making loan payments.
Does anyone have a reference for a good lawyer? Some of the ones I have talked to indicate it would cost upwards of 2k and maybe more if it is contested.

I have a tenant who has not paid rent for several months and even after I filed eviction, he continues to occupy the property. Now, he wants to sue me if I evict him on the grounds that my property manager turned off power since it was in the PM's name. If any of you know of a good lawyer who can help get the tenant out without him having any grounds to counter sue, that would be helpful.
