Post: MLSs allowing listings where seller doesn't own the property

Hi Chris--

I am a licensed real estate agent in North Carolina, working in the Charlotte market. As you know, the Charlotte-area MLS DOES allow for Realtors to input a listing that is "not yet owned by the seller." I agree that this clause in the MLS and related contract documents (listing agreement, Offer to Purchase and Contract) does make things much easier for wholesalers.

By "significant," I meant "significant other." :)

@Coley Mitchell http://metrolinareia.org/

I didn't get to attend the meeting, but my significant (who's not yet on BP) was there (his first meeting as well).  He found it to be very informative!

Okay, wait...I found the answer to this question.  Sorry for the duplicate post!

This may be a silly question, but what does "following" someone on BP do?  Ideally, I would think that I would be able to see whenever that person writes an article/blog post or posts to the forum or does any other kind of activity, but it seems like I can only see these things if I am actually a "colleague" of the person.  Is this that the way it's supposed to work?  If so, what does following someone actually do?  Thanks.

Is it safe to say that a "vote" equivalent to a "like?"

@Jeremiah B.

I've seen many duplexes around Charlotte, but not many (or any) tris or quads in the area.
