Hi guys, I wanted to get a feel for what are some decent housing authorities to work with in SE Michigan? When considering section 8, I've heard from multiple investors that it all depends on what HA you're working with. Obviously I'm not considering Detroit. What about Inkster? Or downriver?

Hi guys,

I'm a newbie in Michigan looking to buy my first property FHA and plan to house hack for a year before converting to rental. I'm going to need a co-signer because I just started working and a lot is 1099'd. My to-be cosigner is an investor with a fair amount of properties and loans out. Can anyone recommend banks in MI that might work with that?

Thanks!

Thanks for the tip Jeff, all those I still plan on doing as much as I can. Btw, sorry I didn't message you back a couple week back. I mostly use the mobile app to monitor chat about our market and you can't reply from the free version of the BP mobile app.

I've been reading and listening to a lot of the BP podcasts for about 2 months now and I'm ready to commit more time to a mentor looking for an assistant or go-for. I've done showings, demos, landscaping, and cleaning for an investor for about a year and now I'd like to learn the behind the scenes work and start networking and building relationships with other investors. I'm also looking to partner with someone, bringing some of my demo/reno experience to the table (its not much).

Happy and excited to be here!

Cheers
