Looking for a real estate attorney to assist with strategy: being sued by former business partner and looking to protect assets. Currently have a primary home and a second property in progress of rehab. Both are owned as a personal property. Want to plan ahead to protect properties from a possible lien if plaintiff wins suit which isn’t likely. Thanks in advance!

Any recommendations for a roofing siding contractor that’s reliable and trustworthy in the Branson area? I have a short term rental cabin right under renovation on TRL in the Reeds Spring area that needs work.

Quote from @John McGonigal:

@David Pere I appreciate the offer, but as mentioned I do have an agent who I think will help shed more light on the Branson market when we visit next month. Does your PM manage STR as well?

Could you PM me the agent’s info that you have in Branson?

Quote from @Jayson Cain:

You might need to do a Foreign Registration of your AK LLC to operate in MO.

We had to do this since our LLC is in CA and we have an STR in Branson.

Thanks for the feedback! I am wading through the forms for the different entities now to accomplish that……

Post: QOTW: If you've bought a property in 2022, how did you find it?

My network…….my exhusband actually! He is a realtor and we looked for about 18 months: property appraised for $78,500 over what I paid!

I used a local bank for an investment property: they were hungrier for the business. Mine was 20% down and a 25 year note at 5.5% ….and due to a recent divorce my credit was under 700. Check local for in house loans….

Well…..notably already here: Walmart Foundation and a soon to be medical school sponsored by them, Crystal Bridges, renowned art museum, Arkansas Childrens Hospital (magnet hospital) alongside all the innovation and creativity from the collateral businesses that operate alongside the huge businesses like Hunt, WM, and Tyson. This area is on the move: I relocated in 2020 and purchased a primary property that I am now house hacking (current housing costs: $200 excluding utilities!). I purchased another property on Table Rock Lake this year. It appraised with $78,000 equity with no repairs. Also, there is a lot going on with the trail systems; Bentonville was recently designated Bike City USA and some olympic trials were held here.
