Starting the probate process and the home will need to be sold. Never been on this side of the table before. Advice? Utilities on the house alone is more than I can afford let alone the mortgage too.

Thank you for responding. The HOA part is definitely what makes it or breaks it depending on cost, services provided, and bylaws. That is what I thought but again didn't find too much on. Thank you

Condos are not something I have read much about at all. Just wondering if there were any pros/cons? Do you treat them like SFHs? Do they involve something similar to hoas? Just curious about them. Thank you for your time!

@Karl B.

Is that more like a mindset book similar to Think and Grow Rich? I am still in the very early stages of the podcast so I haven't hit that one yet.

Hey guys! Despite still working in the current pandemic, I have been finding more opportunity and time to read. So, I wanted to share my current list to see if there are any additional recommendations. Please note I am reading from a kindle as that is the most convenient for me in terms of portability and being teething baby proof. I also read about 1.5 books a week. So I am going to include what I am currently reading, what I have already read, what I currently have lined up (already purchased), and then finally the wish list which is books I haven’t purchased until I get through more books. I appreciate all recommendations, even if it is to skip one of the books on my list.

@Jeff Tyndall

How tech savvy is your tenant? Perhaps offer an incentive for her to provide you pictures or allow for a video conference to capture a quick walk thru.

@Ross Denman

Yeah, we are using this time to further educate ourselves, continue to stockpile what we can. I am still working, my husband is not so he is analyzing deals on the daily. I am reading all the real estate books I can get my hands on. I like that you are focusing more so on personal relationships at this time. I too am afraid for those who are over-leveraged. We have yet to invest, so we are hoping at the end of this we can get a great deal and start our portfolio. Wishing you health during this time and luck in your business endeavors this year!

@Whitney Hutten

That is the plan! Plus our 9-month-old is getting in 4 teeth right now so she is keeping us busy. Trying to use what downtime I have to get more knowledgeable and then the time we are both available to network. Every time we get in the car as a family it is a BP podcast. Wednesdays we tune in to the free webinars. I hope you avoid the illness and that your business this year prospers!

@Yukiko Nakayama

Yeah we just had our first zoom meeting for real estate and it was totally worth it.

@Hai Loc

Yeah I hoping to find an option like that in my market or at least state. Just bummed that the local meetings which we haven't attended yet are shut down. So it is not like we know anyone yet to even do old skool phone conference
