Hello All,

Does anyone know the West Haven Market? I am looking to flip a SFH a 3, bed 2 bath on 3rd st and wood st in West Haven.. The neighborhood seems like its in a C+, area. Does anyone have experience flipping in this area or in C+ neighborhoods. Any input will be appreciated.. The ARV will be 190k on the home, perfect for a fist time home owner..

I have been looking at the multis on the east side of Bridgeport ct and they seem to cash flow well if you can keep them rented. From my market research, it seems like units are typically rented within 30 days of being on the market. Is there any one who has experience in this market that could offer any input? Do you know what the vacancy rate is there? Are there cash tenants in that market or are most of the tenants sec8.. My plan is to rent to sect 8 tenants where sec 8 covers 100% of the rent.. Any input will be appreciated...

Selton Shakes Jr welcome to bigger pockets here you will encounter lots of help. When you buy your first multi consider buying something that needs work so that you can build instant equity. Here on Bp they call it the brrr strategy. You can use a 203k fha loan with only 3% down with this type of loan they will finance the mortgage rehab cost and holding cost. If you ever have any questions or would like to look at property's feel free to reach out. I'm a realtor with Coldwell banker real estate licensed in NY and CT

@Louis

@Louis Roggeman Welcome to bigger pockets, this is a great place to learn and network. I am a realtor in fairfield county CT if your ever looking here and need help please feel free to reach out. I would Recommend the North End of Bridgeport  in CT or Black Rock but @ 200k, a multi might be hard to find with out going inside Bridgeport and I would not recommend that..
