I'm currently looking on a property in a quite respected and well beloved city in my country (Denmark for anyone interested)
This current property, is currently priced at 1750000 DKK - Which is around 235k euros.
The time it has been on the market is quite alarming, sitting at 2876 days so far.
What would be a good lowballing bid?
(This is going to be my first bid for any property, so let's make it a good one :) )

@Jeremy Taggart Thank you for your reply, do you/anyone have some experience in vacation homes? I'm current looking at one which is looking pretty well, it's a part of a resort - it's valued at 50k, currently at auction at around 10-15k - Is it worth to invest in that, to rent it out in the summers? Or would you say it's too much work

I'm current looking at a couple of real estate opportunities for me,
However what are some of the keys things i need to watch out for? I'm looking to get into real estate for the long term, and not just to flip houses.

I' live in Denmark where you at times can be 'lucky' enough to buy a very, very ravaged house for around 2000$, but do you think that would be worth it to restore it?

@Dawn Brenengen As of now, i'm mostly interesting in investing in real estate in Denmark as i'm unaware of the tax/income law regarding out of country rental/ownership. If you're thinking regarding to what area of real estate. I'm mostly thinking buying to lent out later, but i'm open for options.

Also, i'm glad to be here and i'm sure i can learn a lot.

Hello all the lovely people of BiggerPockets.
I'm a 19 year old guy from the small country of Denmark.
I recently acquired a sum of money, consisting of around 85000 USD. (I broke my neck, and got multiple surgeries going wrong, but that's not the reason behind this post.)
However, i'm trying to use that money investing in real estate, where i can get a profit.
What range of houses/apartments should i be looking for, as in where should i start with investing?
Should i spend 50000 usd on an a property, or should i split it on multiple and whatnot,
What is your advice?
Thank you for reading/replying,

Rasmus.
