@David C.

 you are probably right the lighter colors are tougher to see any fading. I guess if it all fades together it really does not matter either.

Oh No @Mike Hurney you did not go there did you? I have to give it to @John Pruner for maning up and sharing his story with us. I am sure there are many more BP'ers out there who have done similar and are embarrassed to share with us.

@David C. thanks! I have heard about the reduced floor joist span as well. I did my deck 16" on center and I know too far apart can cause some bowing.

Any issues with mold, fading, or anything else? I am leaning towards the composite as I really don't want to have to keep up with the maintenance the wood requires.  I can have it pressure washed by the same guy that does the regular pressure washing.

@Bruce M.  How long have you had the decking in place? I know it always looks good when you first instal it. Did you buy it from a big box store?

@Katharine Chartrand  I did that with an investment property and I got a 5.5% rate. They had to do an appraisal on the house which I did not enjoy paying for but that is all the fees I ended up paying on the deal.

@Ryan Dossey  don't forget to practice without the plus2 magazine. If you carry with that mag it takes a little getting used to. I transitioned from a Beretta 92F to a Glock 26 for work and that took some time to get quick with.

@Ryan Dossey  when I lived in NC I could open carry Colt King Cobra .357 but after moving to FL I got my CCW and changed to a Springfield XD9 subcompact when in shorts and t-shirt. If I am in jeans or pants I go with the XD40 and I use IWB holsters for both. I really prefer open carry but not legal everywhere.

@Dana Chen  wow great story! Good on you for checking into the guest log on. I see so many ipads iphones etc on Ebay that are Icloud locked. I event asked someone if they knew how to unlock it they told me they did not know cause they bought it on ebay that way. So many stolen devices out there.
