Any laws would be state wide but a Realestate lawyer would be able to tell you. No 2 deals will ever be the same so questions will always pop up when it come to certain things being legal or not.

Has anyone done any investing in the city of newburgh ny. I have found deals there but they fell threw due to just inexperience on my part and lack of investors interested in the deal. This was many months ago and I am way more educated on the art of wholesaling as well as buy and flip. what im wondering is newburgh worth investing in?

im wondering if my assignment clause is solid enough i was thinking about rewording it or maybe keeping it the same.

it words like this. successors and assignees:The terms and conditions of this contract shall bind all successors, heirs, administrators, trustees, executors and assignees of the respective parties.

should it be worded diffrent or is it fine the way it is?

I just found out that my mother and laws house that she rents taxes aren't being paid. this is on purpose. the owner doesn't want the house and is waiting for bit of land to be sold to the town for road expansion attached to the property. wants to collect the money from the town and let the house go up for taxes. he is already about a year and a half behind on the taxes. can my mother and law pay the back taxes on the home and take ownership?

sounds like a great idea but i wouldn't send it on the first may be the 3rd and 5th each with a diffrent message saying you need to pay rent and any other fees for being late on payment. this is giving the tennant keep the same number the whole time.

if the owner of a rental property is going to prison for fraud what happens to the tenants and who do they pay the rent to once the owner is locked up. also does this help in favor of the renter who is looking to buy the property for maybe a cheaper sale.
