Meeting Topic: Colin Smith with Solid Rock Realty will be doing a 3 part series on managing long term rentals. In May we will be discussing Finding and Analyzing Rental Properties. We will dig into some numbers using properties on the market today, discuss differences between single family and multi-family homes, and what to expect to find a "deal". Part 2 in June will cover the Resident Screening process / Leasing and your Lease Agreement. Part 3 will be in August (we have a different guest speaker in July) where we will cover what to expect after your new Residents have moved in.

My background includes work in real estate investment analysis for an apartment holding firm with over $500 million in assets and graduation from the University of Nebraska with a Bachelor's degree in Real Estate and Land Use Economics. Being a Realtor is my main focus as I love helping clients navigate the buying, selling, and investment process. Meeting Topic: Sam Bromley owns the Bromley mortgage Team and has funded over a 100 million in residential real estate loans. He now additionally owns Love Lending Group which specializes in funding residential construction loans for builders and developers with projects ranging from 1 spec home to 500-unit apartment complexes. Love lending group has access to private funding sources able to fund projects of over a 100 million dollars. He'll be sharing the process of how to get funding for construction loans for developers and construction companies. If you can build it, he can fund it.
