I have a property in South Euclid that I was able to purchase and rehab using funds from lending club. I am about to rent it out at the end of the month and am looking for some investor friendly banks to refi through. I am looking for any of them that do not worry about seasoning. Does anyone have any suggestions? So far have tried a few but they all wanted 12 months seasoning.

Welcome Fellow Newbie.

Thats encouraging news to hear and is making me feel a little bit more confident in my research. I know what you mean about South Euclid. I Have a property N. of Mayfield that is doing well. I have checked out @James Wise and he does appear to be the resident expert on the West side. I will be picking his brain for sure but I am a east sider and have apreference for the East. Wow 75 properties....that is impressive.

@Brandon Turner @Account Closed @Paul Timmins  Thanks for the warm welcome and great info. I have already started digging through the podcasts which are very good. I never though about notes but I can totally see why we would have a ton of them in Ohio. A niche would be pretty interesting...I have hear of some people doing student houseing as well as housing for the elderly and special needs with success. I will need to do some more research.

I have been looking at those areas too....they seem to have a good rental market.

On the east side I have been looking at :

Maple hts, Garfield hts, north collinwood, and Warrensville

On the west:

Ohio city, tremont, pretty much the whole Detroit shoreway area..

I am trying to find out from others about some of the fringe areas like Slavic village.

hi everyone,

Thanks for the warm welcome. @stanley thanks for the suggestion. I have already started speaking with him. @mark great to meet you. I would be great to pick your brain about our fair city. Hi @anne nice to meet you. I am looking for 10-15%.

Hi Michael,

Thanks for the reply. I saw there was a crime problem in certain areas but heard from a few guys that have rentals over there that they are getting great cash flow.  They don't seem to care about appreciation and the numbers they were reporting peeked my interest. But I am more of a Cleveland heights south Euclid guy and don't know much about the Slavic village area.

hi guys,

I am trying to get some feedback on holding rental property in the broadway area of Cleveland. How is the rental market in this area? Anyone having success here?

Thanks
