Hello all, Stumbled upon bigger pockets through some forum search results, registered as member and now I'm overwhelmed. I'm looking to invest in multi family homes and apartments. I have rented out 2 single family homes in Seattle region. It seems so much easier to do single family homes, set some filters on Redfin and look for alerts on email:). But I seem to have lost in multi family investing. Looking to invest around 100k now in good investments in multi family units or even good single family homes. I am hoping to connect with mentors, co investors. Would also like to get in touch with wholesalers in Seattle, King and sno county regions. So excited to be part of bigger pockets, hopefully I can contribute to the community as well.

Congrats Nathan. Can you share details on how you found the property and what the cashflow and other ratios are? There is a property management firm called onerent - startup from bay area. They recently started service in Seattle region, you could check with them if they would cover spokane as well. They charge only 5% compared to 10% charged by most managers

michael.swann , truly inspiring! How do you find apartment complexes in Ohio? Also what factors go into you choosing a property?

Also isn't there a risk of rents going down with downturn in economy which might affect the cash flows of existing property. What's ur exit strategy in such a scenario where it will be harder to sell without incurring a loss
