@Aishah Amina, no, unfortunately I will not be at the REIA party this weekend. We are leaving to go out of town tomorrow so the timing just didn't work. Maybe we can catch up in the new year.

Just a question - You mentioned the 'investment property involving your MIL.' If it is a reverse mortgage situation, are you able to access the equity to use in your investing?

Eric, 

I have many rentals, none in those particular areas. When my daughter went to VCU, I was not able to find anything affordable that would cash flow and believe it is still like that. The UR area is a very desirable area but same sort of thing. If I send out yellow letters, I send them to other areas where I feel there are more deals. 

I'm interested to hear what other local RVAers have to say.
