@Mike Lambert I appreciated your insight as i am in the same situation. Wondering if you have any rough estimates of to how much a fideicomiso cost... Thank you!

Hi Jose Miguel,

We are also in So Cal... Signal Hill and have been investing out of State... Mainly Texas. Since you mention investing out of state, if you haven't checked out Roofstock.com, I would start there... they specialize on exactly that. Best of luck.

We are about to close on a new property and this time we want to try STR's. But we are not sure if we want to manage it ourselves or have AirB&B (or alike vendor) manage it. I should say we live in CA and the house is in El Paso Tx so it would definitely be a remote managing situation. We wonder what others have done and what they recommend. Thank you all for your feedback.

Good morning everybody,

We are exploring Short Term Rentals in El Paso but we are struggling to find anything solid from the City in terms of policies that need to be followed. Last week we visited City Hall and we were told that 1) There isn't any regulations specific to STR's (good) and 2) that "it probably" follows the same process as obtaining a permit for a Bed & Breakfast (not good), which is long and a bit complicated. If that is what we need to do, we'll do it but we are wondering if anybody out there in in the market with STR's and and has figured out how to do it. We'd appreciate any feedback. Thank You!
