1st STM: Self Manage or use AirB&B?
We are about to close on a new property and this time we want to try STR's. But we are not sure if we want to manage it ourselves or have AirB&B (or alike vendor) manage it. I should say we live in CA and the house is in El Paso Tx so it would definitely be a remote managing situation. We wonder what others have done and what they recommend. Thank you all for your feedback.

AirBnb does not manage rentals. It just provides a hosting platform to advertise them for you and you pay them for that convenience.
Completely possible to manage remotely, I have clients that do it all the time. You just need to set up your processes to make sure everything is as efficient as possible and your team on the ground is dependable.
