My partner and I are ready to move into creating an LLC to hold a couple of rental properties. Does anybody here has someone that you have worked with and feel comfortable referring? we have 2 properties in Texas and 2 in California. Any referrals would be much appreciated!

If you get a loan for a vacation / second home and after the purchase you want to do short-term rentals on the months you don't intend to be at the house, How long do you have to wait before renting it?

We just bought a dishwasher for a rental property and we know that we cannot expense it this year. Our understanding is that this is consider a Capital Expenditure and if gets depreciated over a period of time. Ours question is; is the labor from the handyman also considered a CAPEX? Or can the labor (making the changes to the cabinets and installing the dishwasher) be deducted this year…. Thank you everybody!
