Hi @Sumegh Dhawan.

House hacking is an incredible way to get started in real estate. Live in the property for a year with some roommates (tenants if multi-family) and then move out after the first year. You are not only saving money from not renting but if done right, can be paid to live in your own home! I'd be happy to connect you with an agent on my team if when you are ready to purchase. Crown Hill has some rougher areas but it does have the advantage of being between downtown and Broad Ripple where there is lots of development. I'd be happy to connect and help you figure out which property is best for your goals.
