I live in Everett and also a real estate agent. There are definitely some parts of Everett I would stay away from. I purchased my home in Everett less than a year ago, and it has seen solid appreciation. Like you said buying in the right location is important. As for the overall market I believe almost all experts are continuing to predict between 3-8% appreciate year over year. I am happy to help your son navigate this market.
